What is ValuPerfCard?

ValuPerfCard is a clean-cut, perforated card designed for jobs in which a less durable card is acceptable. The card and carrier sheet form an integrated document and have a backside laminate that enables two-sided printing.

What card sizes are available?

Standard: 3-3/8" x 2-1/8"; 86mm x 54mm
Butterfly: 6-3/4" x 2-1/8"; 172mm x 54 mm
TwinCard: 3-3/8" x 4-1/4"; 86mm x 108mm
Caterpillar: 6-3/8" x 3-3/8"; 162mm x 86mm

What are the applications for ValuPerfCard?

Any type of identification or membership card that requires the printing of variable data on a card is an excellent candidate for ValuPerfCard. Some popular vertical markets are: insurance, health care, finance, clubs and associations, education, direct mail, commercial, travel, manufacturing, and government.

Can ValuPerfCards be imaged on the back?

Yes. The sheet can be offset pre-printed with static information on the front or the back, with a maximum of 6 colors total. Maximum 20% ink density in digital print areas on face of coated stock. The back side laminate is laser compatible.

Can the card placement vary on the sheet?

Yes, card placement can vary 1/16" in either direction. However, it is not advisable to print near the edge of the card because toner transfer may not be achieved at perforations. We suggest not printing within 1/8 of the edge of the card, either on the card itself or the carrier sheet.

Are ValuPerfCards available on 8-1/2 X 14" paper or as A4 size?

ValuePerfCards are available 8.5” x 11”, 11” x 17”, 12" x 18", A4, SRA4, A3, and SRA3 sizes. Special sizes are available.

Can the card or the document be pre-printed?

Yes. ValuPerfCards are pre-printed with heat and scuff resistant inks that are formulated to dry quickly, are not tacky, and do not offset in xerographic copiers and printers. The sheet can be pre-printed with static information on the front or the back, with a maximum of 6 colors total. Maximum 20% ink density in digital print areas on face of coated stock.

Are there special charges for pre-printing?

Yes. In addition to variable costs for different combinations of printing options, there may be prep and setup charges on the first order. What is the ValuPerfCard minimum order?

5,000 sheets.

Can I order samples?

In order for the customer to test the input/output capabilities of the ValuPerfCard, we will send sheets of ValuPerfCard to each customer after an order has been placed. There is no charge to the customer. They will receive the product within five days (allow additional time for custom paper or positioning) and will be asked to sign and return the ValuPerfCard Test Approval Document before the actual order is manufactured.
